“You’re not a means to an end for me. You’re everything. Open your eyes, baby. Look at me.”

She kept them closed and snarled as his lips skimmed over her face.

“I did all of this to get you back. I told myself it was revenge, but it was because of you. I couldn’t move on. Couldn’t forget you.” He pressed his forehead to hers, his voice breaking as he whispered, “I missed you every hour of every fucking day.”

She wrenched her head back, unable to stand his touch, his choppy breaths gusting across her face, and his blasphemous lies. What the fuck was his problem? Why wouldn’t he give it up? What was the point of all of this?

“Let me go!” she shouted.

He ignored her, holding her before him with a biting hold on her shoulders as he said, “I’ll do anything. Anything you want. Just give me a chance to—”

“No! Get the fuck away from me! I hate you!”

“I know you do.”

The fact that he managed to sound choked up enraged her.

Book Updates

I don’t have a release date for book 4 of the Singed Series yet. I’ve had some ongoing health and personal issues that have interfered with completing the first draft. But, I am working on it and as soon as I have a release date, I’ll let you all know!

I am absolutely loving this book so far. As usual, all my plans and ideas have gone out the window and the characters are doing what they want, which is always the way to go anyway. This book is so heartbreaking. Most days I’m either crying outright at my desk or tearing up. It’s also healing and has given me plenty of food for thought. I can’t wait to share this book with you all!

Paperbacks/Hardbacks

Right now, the available paperbacks are a 6x9 size. For those who requested the smaller, 5x8 size they should be available next month. For those who’d like the first 3 books in one large paperback or hardback, that will also be available next month!

For those who asked about audio, I’ll look into that after book 4 is released.

Crime Lord Series

And for those who are still holding out hope for Carmen, I haven’t forgotten her. I have to fulfill my contracts for the Singed Series before I can return to my previous series.
