Book 5 in the Crime Lord Series will be my next work in progress! I know. FINALLY, right? I mentioned in a previous blog that I moved 3 times in 2018, which is why I wasn’t able to sit down and write part 2 of Carmen’s story. The Crime Lord Series is very intricate and detailed and I didn’t want to rush through Carmen’s story so I waited until I had the time to give book 5 the attention it deserves. This will be my next release!
The deeper we delve into the series, the more time each book requires. Navigating around future plot points is like tiptoeing around landmines. I get a lot of requests for certain character’s books. Every story foreshadows the next and sheds light on each character before they take center stage. I have bread crumbs in books 3 and 4 for books 8 and 10. It’s deliberate and the order is not random. Each character will have their time in the limelight. Books 5 and 6 have intersecting timelines so I’ll be writing these back to back before I finish book 2 in the Singed Series.
The Crime Lord Series will be a long running series. If all the “main” characters get a book (Lucifer, Raul, Roque, Blade, etc) the series will have over 10 books, which means the Crime Lord Series will be ongoing for years. In between Crime Lord books I’ll dabble in other things, but I’ll always come back and complete what I’ve begun.
In an effort to make some major headway on my workload, I’m going to be offline. The best way to reach me is through my email: [email protected] My PA Emily and Kelly will be running my social media in my absence and will be handling inquiries on those platforms. I will check in periodically, but inconsistently. I don’t know how long the book will take. Each book is different, but I will announce a release date as soon as I have one!
Thank you so much for your patience and support! I’m really blessed to be able to do this for a living and have an audience eager to see what’s next. I hope book 5 is worth the wait! Wish me luck!
